- Amy is a specialist in second language acquisition. Her career has taken her to Latin America, South East Asia and the Middle East. Wherever she goes, she uses her observation of vivid characters, vibrant locales and traditional culture to form the backdrop for her writing. Because she suffers from Retinitis Pigmentosa, a progressive vision disorder, her experiences and interaction with her environment often lead to a variety of hilarious, faith-building circumstances. Amy’s stories highlight her determination to see the world even though, for her, it may be just a little out of focus.
